Six countries in this Region — Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Myanmar, Nepal and Thailand — have introduced Xpert MTB/RIIF, a system that detects the disease, including TB that is resistant to the antibiotic rifampicin, rapidly, within 100 minutes.
