Bangkok: Shiv Kapur finished as the best Indian golfer in the Queen's with a final round of 3-under 67, placing him Tied-sixth here on Sunday. Five birdies against two bogeys saw him finish the week at 11-under 269 at the Queen's Cup hosted by Jaidee Foundation. Among other Indians, M Dharma (70) and Abhijit Chadha (68) were T-28, Rashid Khan (69) was T-38; Kshitij Naveed Kaul (70) and Honey Baisoya (66) were T-48 and Amardip Malik (78) had a sharp fall to T-62 after being in Top-10 first two days. Miguel Tabuena of the Philippines signed for a stunning four-under-par 66 in the final round to end a three-year title drought on the Asian Tour. "Overall, I can't complain, I think I played quite well, made a couple of bogeys where I shouldn't but that is going to happen to anyone. Especially on the back nine I was trying to attack as much as I could. The leaders were getting away from me but I was still out there flag hunting and trying to make as many birdies as I could,” he said.

bayern beat dortmund 2-1
Nagpur: Bayern Munich earned their first Bundesliga win for a month as Serge Gnabry scored twice in Saturday's 2-1 win at Werder Bremen, but the defending champions remained nine points behind leaders Borussia Dortmund. Bayern's victory lifted them two places in the table to third, but they will drop back to fifth if Eintracht Frankfurt earn a fifth straight win at home to Wolfsburg on Sunday and RB Leipzig beat second-placed Moenchengladbach. Bayern built on their 5-1 midweek thrashing of Benfica in the Champions League, but still lag well behind Dortmund, who also won 2-0 at home against Freiburg.
chelsea outclass fulham 2-0
London: Chelsea bounced back from their first Premier League defeat of the season to see off local rivals Fulham 2-0 on Sunday, with goals from Pedro and Ruben Loftus-Cheek putting the gloss on a mixed performance. The home side dominated possession at Stamford Bridge and scored early through Spanish forward Pedro but struggled to find their rhythm and looked shaky until substitute Loftus-Cheek settled their nerves with a late second. Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri enjoyed a dream start to his tenure in England but a chastening 3-1 defeat to Tottenham last week stung him badly, prompting a series of post-mortems with individual players. Sunday's hard-fought win lifted Chelsea into third place above Spurs, in action against Arsenal later in the day.
