Gujarat lions
Prediction: Play-offs
There is no lack of firepower as far as lions are concerned. With players like Brendon McCullum, Aaron Finch, Dwayne Smith and Jason Roy, they could wreak havoc on their day with the bat. Captain Raina who has been discarded from the Indian team and has been denied a central contract would be fully motivated to prove his mettle once again. Dinesh Karthik, on the other hand, would lend his valuable experience to the middle-order. In James Faulkner and Dwayne Bravo, they have two wonderful all-rounders. Bowling attack heavily depends on Indian domestic cricket stars like Praveen Kumar, Dhawal Kulkarni, Pradeep Sangwan and Manpreet Gony. The key player could be local boy Ravindra Jadeja with his precise spin bowling and useful lower order hitting ability.
