Delhi Daredevils and Royal Challengers Bangalore both come into the match at the Ferozeshah Kotla on Sunday with a win under their belt and aim to keep the momentum going.

Where Delhi snapped their nine match losing streak at home, stretching back to 2013, against the Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore thrashed table toppers Rajasthan Royals by nine wickets helped by a strong bowling display and second consecutive fifty by captain Virat Kohli.

Delhi are in patchy form in the on-going tournament with youngster Shreyas Iyer leading the batting spree despite not having an international cap to his name. Iyer and JP Duminy put together 154 runs for the second wicket against Mumbai on Thursday.

With the youngsters shining, Delhi's big money buy Yuvraj Singh (Rs 16 crore) hasn't proven his worth yet. The leftie has scored 122 runs so far and may be pushed higher up the order in place of Agarwal who has 3 runs to his name in last 3 matches.

Over on the bowling front, energetic leg spinner Imran Tahir continues to lead the race for the purple cap with 13 wickets. He's not alone in wreaking havoc on the opposition with Amit Mishra playing a vital role alongside. Their job, however, will get tougher against a formidable RCB batting unit.

But Delhi's Angelo Mathews conceded they have a plan to counter the likes of Kohli, AB de Villiers and Chris Gayle. "We've got a few plans (against their batting). You can't really contain them so you have to take wickets regularly. If you notice, most teams have dominated in the last six or seven overs, if they have wickets left. So whichever the opposition, you try and take wickets early on and take wickets all the time," said the Sri lankan all-rounder.

He added that the only way Delhi can win is by playing the way they did against Mumbai: by being aggressive and positive. He also added the need for freedom to play shots.

The team will possibly be boosted by the return of Zaheer Khan from injury. He trained during the previous against KKR and did so too on Saturday in the nets.

RCB rely on the spin bowling of Yuzvendra Chahal who has picked up ten wickets so far. And Starc made a telling contribution in the last game against Royals.

With the willow, Kohli's team has been fairly rusty. Gayle sat out their 27-run loss to CSK and didn't have a fruitful return to form: scoring 20 runs. However, Kohli has come back in good touch which could pose a real threat to the home side.
