Raj HC orders 'no confidence motion' vote against Modi

The warring groups of Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) will be testing their strengths again as Rajasthan High court on Monday ordered that the two factions will have to mutually agree to a fresh ‘No Confidence Motion’ that will tabled again.

After hearing on the writ filed by 26 petitioners including district cricket associations, their secretaries and members of the RCA executive committee members against the unfair manner in which the motion of no confidence moved by Amin Pathan & Co was conducted on March 9 in Sawai Man Singh stadium, Justice Bela Trivedi said that solution to the deadlock was that there should be a fresh voting.

Honorable justice asked both the warring factions to mutually agree for a fresh no confidence motion or fresh elections and put forward a name of person who would chair and supervise the voting which would be held in police supervision. The court also made it clear that if both the parties fail to do so in the next hearing on September 29, the court would itself appoint a chairman and announce the date to ensure fair and free voting on the motion.
