India's batting sensation Virat Kohli might have achieved a rare milestone when he joined West Indian great Viv Richards as the fastest to reach the 5000-run mark in ODI cricket, but the flamboyant right-hander insisted he still has a long way to go.
Although delighted to share the feat with Richards, Kohli said he never approaches a game thinking about records.
“To equal a feat with a player like him (Richards) is a very good feeling but it does not stop here because it is more or less the beginning. It is nice to equal his record but still there is a long way to go,” a confident Kohli said at the post match press conference after India defeated West Indies by six wickets in the first ODI of the three-match series here.
