AUCKLAND: India take on New Zealand in the fourth T20 International at Eden Park in Auckland on Friday, with the visitors having already sealed the five-match series with an unassailable 3-0 lead.

India secured the series with a six-wicket victory in the third T20I in Wellington. Abhishek Sharma starred with a blistering 113 off 38 balls as India chased New Zealand’s 198-run target in just 13.2 overs.

With the series decided, the remaining two matches offer India an opportunity to test their squad options and maintain their winning momentum ahead of the upcoming fixtures.

New Zealand, meanwhile, will aim to bounce back in front of their home crowd and avoid a series whitewash. The hosts will need a stronger bowling performance after struggling to contain India’s aggressive batting in the first three games.

The fourth T20I begins at 12.30 pm IST. The fifth and final match will be played in Hamilton on November 1.
