Rising Pune Supergiants Predicted finish: Final
Rising Pune Giants joined Rajkot as one of the two new franchises who will participate in the forthcoming two seasons of the IPl. They got hold of the world's most iconic player and India's most successful captain MS Dhoni in the draw. Along with him they also got two more Indians — Ajinkya Rahane and R Ashwin.
They also have Australian captain Steven Smith and Faf Du Plessis which makes their batting very intimidating and something which the other teams need to worry about. In the auction they caught some of the big fishes in the form of Kevin Petersen, Ishant Sharma, Irfan Pathan and Thisara Perara. Their biggest strength is going to be their batting unit and if they perform to their potential, RPS led-by Dhoni might very will be the giant killers of the new season.
