HYDERABAD: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have agreed to a four-player trade ahead of the IPL 2027 season. England all-rounder Liam Livingstone and Australian all-rounder Jake Edwards will move to CSK, while pacers Khaleel Ahmed and Nathan Ellis will join SRH.

Livingstone has been traded at a revised fee of Rs 6 crore, down from the Rs 13 crore at which SRH had signed him. Edwards will move at his existing fee of Rs 3 crore.

Khaleel and Ellis will join SRH at their existing fees of Rs 4.8 crore and Rs 2 crore, respectively.

Livingstone featured in only two matches for SRH in the 2026 season. His power-hitting and ability to bowl offer CSK an additional option in the middle order.

Edwards is yet to make his IPL debut. He missed the 2026 season after a foot injury and will now get an opportunity with Chennai.

Khaleel returns to SRH, having represented the franchise from 2018 to 2021. He joined CSK ahead of the 2025 season and took 15 wickets in 14 matches. His 2026 campaign was cut short by a quadriceps injury.

Ellis, who was signed by CSK for Rs 2 crore, missed the 2026 season after sustaining a hamstring injury. His variations and death-over bowling will add depth to SRH's pace attack.
