The 5-day International Conclave for Development of Sports Coaching Framework in India, organised by the Sports Authority of India (SAI), in collaboration with the International Council for Coaching Excellence (ICCE) took off here on Thursday, at Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports (NIS), Patiala to develop a workable Coaching Framework to face current challenges in the field of sports coaching and performance of Indian athletes.
The Conclave aims at development of Indian sports coaching framework, so as to bring it at par with the international coaching standards, through review and revamping of the existing sports coaching system, coach qualifications and development of coaching framework.
