Hazlewood ruled out of India tour

Dhaka: Australia fast bowler Josh Hazlewood was today ruled out of the upcoming limited overs series against India after suffering a side strain during the first Test against Bangladesh. The injury, suffered on the third day of the match, also meant that Hazlewood would not play the second Test against Bangladesh. Hazlewood suffered the strain while bowling the second over of the third day. He looked in considerable discomfort as Ashton Agar finished the over. "He's (Hazlewood) going to be really hard to replace," Pat Cummins said at the end of the day. "He's played all but one of the last 30 Tests. He said it is going to be pretty hard sitting at home watching, he hasn't done that for three or four years. So he's a big member around the group," Cummins said.

West Indies 199-3, need 123 more to win

leeds: England snatched a crucial wicket just before tea but a defiant West Indies still had a chance of at least saving the second Test on the final day. Moeen Ali dismissed Kraigg Brathwaite for 95, ending the West Indian opener's resistance at Headingley. West Indies went to tea on 199-3, still 123 runs short of the victory target of 322. That total may be just out of reach, but the West Indians do have a good chance of drawing the game and keeping the three-match series alive. With seven wickets left, the West Indians need to survive 35 overs in the final session, the last 16 of them likely against the new ball. The gamble for the tourists is whether to risk losing wickets in going for the run chase.
