This is the first time for Buquet to oversee a match for Real Madrid, which currently leads Group F with four points, reports Efe on Sunday.
Buquet led his first Champions league match in 2014-15 between Malmo and Sparta Prague in round three of the group stage, followed by the match between Porto against Shakhtar Donetsk in the same edition.
On the other hand, Dinamo Zagreb-Sevilla will be refereed by Englishman Michael Oliver on Tuesday.
