A story of love, mysticism, and deceit, Zee TV’s next high-strung fiction offering Ek Shakti...Ek Aghori will shatter all the stereotypes surrounding love and happy endings and present a never-seen-before love story.
The show revolves around the lives of Kamakshi and Ishan (Gaurav Chopraa) who fall in love with each other and take vows of spending their lives together. But she is oblivious to the world that Ishan belongs to and about his aghori lineage. It can be traced back to Guru Rudranath who swore by the aghori way of living and took Ishan under his wing. He told Ishan that if wish to seek spiritual enlightenment and immortality, he must trick his wife Kamakshi into sacrificing her life and in return, he will become mighty and powerful. Ishan is an emotional, loyal, fearless and strong-willed person.
Speaking about being a part of the show, Chopraa said: “Many years back, I made my debut on Zee TV and its such a sweet coincidence that post my break, I am starting my second innings with Zee TV and it feels great to be back. For the last two-and-a-half years, I was focussing on the digital platforms. I wanted to experiment with contrasting and different roles.
“An actor always tries to showcase a variety in their roles and I feel I was lucky to do so and in the line of those shows, came an offer which was very hard to refuse. Ek Shakti...Ek Aghori’s concept is unheard of and the intrigue and eccentricity surrounding the show along with the different layers of the character are what drew me to the character. I am happy and excited about the show. I am really looking forward to the audience to like it.”
Drashti in gathbandhan
Gudipadwa is known to be a spring festival that symbolises the beginning of a new year for Maharashtrians in India. Colors' Gathbandhan that highlights a gritting love story between a gangster and a righteous IPS officer will soon witness a track on the festival. In the current storyline, Dhanak (Shruti Sharma) is recovering from a critical health condition and her family is anxiously waiting for her to return home. To thank god for saving Dhanak's life, the entire family host GudiPadwa puja in their society.
To make the celebration a grand affair, popular actress Dhrasti Dhami will be coming as Savitri's special guest to grace the festivities. Dressed up in a traditional pink and green Navaree saree, Drashti will give a spectacular performance on the popular songs like Pinga, Fitoori and Sapno Mein Milti Hai along with Dhanak and Savitri.
Commenting on her performance Dhami said: “I was extremely delighted to be a part of the the celebrations. I got a chance to look like a proper Marathi mulgi. Dancing is something that I always enjoy and I couldn't deny it when I was approached for a dance performance on the show. I hope the viewers enjoy it, as I enjoyed shaking a leg on some of the most famous Bollywood songs along with the cast. I had a great time with the entire cast and crew and I wish the best for them.”
Judge richa walks out
The upcoming episode of Zee TV’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil’ Champs will see musical maestros Amit Kumar and Bappi Lahiri visit the sets to enjoy a musical evening and guide/encourage the kids.

Upon hearing Ritik, judge Richa Sharma feels extremely disappointed and decides to walk out.
Talking about this she said” “Ritik, you are one of the most mature contestants here. I treat you like my family, just like I am your real elder sister but you always tend to say you have no-one here for you. I just need a break.” She further walks out and Ritik follows her to persuade her and as he steps out she has a beautiful surprise planned for him. Ritik’s father is waiting for him with a big smile and this leaves him extremely elated.
Well, Richa’s prank turned out to be fruitful and brought a huge smile on Ritik’s face. She further added, “As everyone’s parents and grandparents are here, I wanted to surprise our Ritik and wanted to see his reaction and I hope he liked the beautiful surprise.”
Moreover, Ritik’s father thanks Richa Sharma for taking care of his son and treats her and the other judges with some delicious malpua.
