How would most 21-year-olds want to spend their birthdayIJ Would it be out partying with friendsIJ The answer would be a yes. But would it make sense to go from one pub to another and get totally sloshed the night just before an important interviewIJ But this is precisely what our three boys in 21 and Over go out and do.
So, how does a night filled with debauchery, humiliation, over indulgence and running around naked with a teddy bear stuck to the organ in the middle of the night make for funIJ Well, Jon lucas and Scott Moore (the writers of The Hangover) definitely think that it is has plenty of fun element to it. While The Hangover series may have tickled a funny bone, this one only makes one wish the night would end soon.
The fact that the movie had to have a different version to be released in China — the movie is about how a boy who leaves China and gets corrupted by western influence. But in the end he goes back to China a better person just proves that the movie is not the kind that will appeal to those who like meaningful cinema.
So, it is a comedy that is worth watchingIJ Most 21-year-olds would say aye! Other may just give this one a miss.
