Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, the movie, Non-Stop, that unfolds at 40,000 feet in the air is something that the likes of Hercule Poirot or Sherlock Holmes would like to sink their teeth into. A suspense thriller, this one takes you on a ride that is fraught with danger and thrill. It may not be the perfect film especially when it comes to a passenger demanding a window seat because they have a heart condition and may die any moment or the fact that the plane with the bomb needs to go off at 8,000 feet to neutralise the pressure and the only answer to save its 150 occupants but when it comes to Neeson even the unbelievable become credible.
It is him who makes this transatlantic ride to london a smooth one. Neeson known for his intense action-thriller genre, that will have most biting their nails, keeps one on the edge till the very end.
Probably what keeps this one from having the wao value is the lack of visual treat that it could have had. It is a well-directed film that is unemotional. But despite this, the movie is entertaining, compelling and exciting and therefore makes for a one time watch.
