The romance between Jodha-Akbar may have fizzled out and the over hyped Salim and Anarkali saga never took off but there is one permanent jodi that keeps the spark going in Zee TV’s Jodha Akbar — Rukkaiya Begum and her hookah are inseparable. Too much smoke and no story line makes a story weak and juvenile. Time to bech de the damn hookah!
WhyIJ Because the smoke seems to have gotten into her head. She is no longer spewing venom — only smoke.
Paji Kiya Re
The maniacal laughter of Navjyot Singh Sidhu at 10:30 pm (on Comedy Nights With Kapil) is harmful for people with a weak heart, children below the age of five and for someone who is trying to get some sleep. At that time of the day, it’s better if Paji loses his laugh.
WhyIJ Even fake comes with a shelf life.
Maleficent Panel
The all men (lauren being an exception) panel of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa on Colors is a complete eye sore. The over-the-top gay jokes and men shaking their backsides at a drop of a hat is not glam at all. Male panel ka idea; bech de immediately.
WhyIJ Because we miss Madhuri Dixit. She was the mainstay of the show.

It’s as ifCID has been there for 100 years. From the dialogue writer to the costume designer and the starcast, everything and everyone seems to be a part of the family now. Time for a move on to another detective agency.

And we thought, polygamy was an offense in our country. Not when our heroines are shown taking random pheras with the next guy they meet. Might mean good business for the pundits; but spare us the going round and round. Bech de the shaddi ka mandap from this show.
WhyIJ One more marriage and the viewers will file for a bitter divorce, from the show of course.
Balika Ka WhatIJ
If there was one serial on Colors that started off on a bright note and sustained itself (TRP wise) despite a philanderer protagonist (read Jagya), it was because of a very hard-hitting social subject that the makers opted for. But mid-way the concept changed from child marriage-to-remarriage-to-love triangle-to medical issues. If not the haveli which looks jaded and worn out; it is time for the makers to bech de all confusion.
WhyIJ like too many cooks spoil the broth; too many parallel stories lose their audience.
Young And Younger
Akshara from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai appears to be aging backwards. The mother of a teenager looks as vibrant and gorgeous as she looked on the first day of her shoot! For the sake of all cosmetic companies, let’s bech de Akshara’s diva looks.

lost In Her World
Durga Devi from Jamai Raja on Zee TV is a pendulum. She swings towards her jamai for a week and then swings back to hating him in the very next episode. As a strong headed woman, we expected some consistency from her. But alas she continues to be undecided for the staggering 261 episodes in the show. We feel the show will pick up if Durga Devi’s fickle mind is sold off for good.
WhyIJ We hate inconsistency in any field. So, why tolerate Durga Devi’s swings which doesn’t move the score card of the show at allIJ
