Curtains for Keech

SANGEETA YADAV

She entered the Bigg Boss House because of her friendship with Salman Khan, the host of Bigg Boss 7. Hazel Keech who worked with him in Bodyguard may have kept a low profile on the reality show but is the first to be evicted from jahannam. She spoke with Sangeeta Yadav

  • What made you say yes to Bigg BossIJ

It’s a different project and very interesting as well. There can’t be a better platform than this show to make my TV debut. I have worked with Salman in Dabangg, so it was great to work with him again and with other inmates on the show.

  • What was your strategyIJ

The plan was to be myself and do what is right. I wanted to keep myself busy and learn from every situation that came my way in the House. I know little bit of cooking, so I was hoping to be on the other side of the counter. I never wanted to indulge in politics inside the House. I just wanted to go with the flow and let things unfold.

  • How did you cope with speaking in HindiIJ

I had prepared myself for that beforehand. I’ve already picked up the language so didn’t have much problem in the House.

The Journey

She made a dhamakedaar entry by dancing on item numbers at the launch of Bigg Boss Saath 7 on Colors. But call it her bad luck or less popularity with the viewers that British-born actress Hazel Keech is the first to be out. Her week-long stay in jahannam (she had no idea that she would be housed there) was not without problems. With no electricity and an Indian style washroom, Keech was shocked to know that she would have to live with it. While she proved to be a great entertainer, she fell ill early in the show. The food crises (very little that was given to the inmates) on her side of the House made it difficult for her to survive. With her ouster, her wish to see the confession room remains a distant dream.
