When it comes to their President and his Secret Service, the Americans would like to believe they are the masters of the universe. Any attack, any terrorist activity in any place around the President has to go down on its knees pretty fast, or the screen will just explode around you.
This one is no different and yet so different. Because, the terrorist here is more audacious than ever before, blowing up the White House, hostaging the President and his Cabinet colleagues, that too in the world’s best you-can’t-breach-me bunker, waging war on America and also managing to kill all hostages, except him and his Secretary of State.
The saviour. Who else than one agent who is seeped in alcohol and frustration ever since a botched up job which had the First lady killedIJ Another matter that Gerard Butler is just too fast to get into action and when he is around, Umrikan ishtyle, even Rajnikanth can get competition when it comes to one-man Army operations.
A lot of dhishum dhishum, a lot of Americanese but a whole lot of fun. Thank the Americans, for, Olympus has fallen — and with so much fanfare!
