Catch the premiere of Dear Zindagi on Sunday, May 28 at 12 pm. Directed by Gauri Shinde, the film tugged at hearts as it touched upon the sensitive issues of depression and anxiety. Speaking about casting the two actors — Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt, Shinde said: “I don’t write stories keeping any actors in mind. There is lot of hard work that goes into writing a good story and then it is a matter of luck to get actors like them. I work hard on the stories which convince the actors to come on board for the films.”
Alia Bhatt said: “One of the important things I learnt from playing Kaira is to introspect in life and deal with situations, while enjoying the simple joys of life.”
