Alleging irregularities in the process of appointment of High School Teachers in the State, Jharkhand Vikas Morcha Vice President Pradeep Yadav has written a letter to Chief Minister Raghubar Das to postpone the process immediately and take decision in this regard within 7 days or the party will be compelled to take to the streets for the betterment of local aspirants. Talking to the media persons at the party office in Ranchi, Yadav said that there are several errors in the revised advertisement which needs to be corrected before filling up the forms.

“It is mentioned in the advertisement that minimum 45 per cent marks in any of the subjects along with a Bed degree. But Bed degree along with BSC (Agriculture) is not given in any of the Universities,” said Yadav. It will only confuse aspirants and will debar many of them to fill up the form, he said.

Yadav further added that similar mistake has been done at another place where it has been mentioned that a degree in Botany, Zoology and Chemistry is required along with other conditions required for the post.

“Chemistry if compulsory with Botany and Zoology, but Botany and Zoology is not compulsory with Chemistry. It is also highly confusing for the students which need to be corrected in order to make it understand to the aspirants,” he said.

Similar mistake was done in Uttar Pradesh in the year 2012-13 in appointment of teachers where more than 70 per cent were selected from Jaunpur district alone.

“I doubt that similar conspiracy is being done here to benefit a particular group of people,” said Yadav.

What is more important that locals of Jharkhand must be given priority in any kind of appointments which has not been mentioned anywhere in the advertisement.

“Current local policy defined by the State Government is not enough to check outsiders as it is being defied indiscriminately in the state,” said Yadav.
