The district administration organised a one day workshop under Din Dayal Uppadhayya Gramin Kaushal Yojana in the seminar hall of the deputy commissioner’s office. The workshop was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the DC Nancy Sahay.
On the occasion, the DC said that it is an important scheme. This is the only scheme of the Central government, which gives gurantee of employment to the youths of the rural areas. She advised officers that whenever they will be on the tour they must make village youths aware of the scheme, which trains the youths according to their interest and gives them the jobs. With the help of earning they may be self- dependent and their family's economic status will be high.
The DC further said that we are running so many centres for the employment of the youth under JSLPS ( Jharkhand State Livelihood Promotion Society). The placement record in these centres are very satisfactory. She advised the centre to include more and more unemployed youths for the training.
She said that with the help of Skill Mission India, we can develop entrepreneurship in the unemployed rural youths. She said that rural youths should be taken, so that their main objectives can be completed.
In the meeting district programme officers of JSLPS, social welfare officer, Dy.SP and other officers were present.
