A workshop on diabetic retinopathy was organised at loknayak Jaiprakash Eye Hospital, Bahera, Chouparan as a unit of Navbharat Jagriti Kendra, Hazaribagh.
Chief guest the Secretary of NBJK Girija Satish said that the aim of their organisation is to provide quality eye treatment at low cost to the people of this state and adjoining states too. He praised the doctors and staffs of the hospital and said that it is due to their hard work in short time span this hospital has earned name and fame. Program director Gandharv Gaurav said that from October 2013 with the help of World Diabetic Foundation, Denmark, the treatment of diabetic retinopathy has started here.
