A worker died in an accident at Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) on Wednesday morning. According to the eyewitnesses, Krishna Ram (51) posted as Multi Skilled Technician in Operation Garage and CBRS department at Bokaro Steel Plant today reported for duty at MES-2 in General Shift.
He was on the maintenance work of Dozer; suddenly he met with an accident. At about 10.30 AM Ram accidentally came down under the Dozer, said an eyewitness.
Ram was immediately rushed to the hospital with the help of co-workers where doctors declared him brought dead, said M K Dhan Chief of Communication BSL.
BSL management mourned the demise of Mahto; an inquiry committee was set-up by the management to inquire into the incidence leading to the death of Ram, he said.
According to the company’s norms the next kin of the deceased will get the help, said Dhan.
