Badly socked by the arrest of his husband, wife died at Phusro in Bokaro on Monday.
Satendra Singh (37) was arrested by the police on the charge of preparing fake transporting document for Central Coalfield limited (CCl). Socked with the arrest of his husband, Chanchla Devi (30) got heart attack; later died at Dhori Regional Hospital during treatment, said an eyewitness.
Irked local called a ‘bandh’ on Tuesday. Demanding to lodge an FIR on IPS Priyadersi Alok and investigation in the death of Chanchla Devi, locals blocked the Jainamore-Giridih road. Vehicles were stand still for more than eight hours; blocked was lifted by the intervention of DSO Rajesh Ram and DClR Bermo Anil Singh, who promised FIR against IPS after investigation.
