Riding on the wave of technology Narendra Modi, BJP’s (Bhartiya Janta Party) PM candidate made inroads in the rural areas of Jharkhand to interact with people who otherwise would not have imagined seeing him in a 3D avtar. The BJP’s PM candidate addressed a gathering of around 1000 to 2000 people at Ratu High School Ground, about 15 kms from Ranchi on Friday evening.
Modi’s 3D avatar clearly captivated the rural audience who were mesmerized with the style of delivery of the BJP’s PM candidate besides his sharp attack on Congress. But the technology was something that draw the people including women and small children to the ground. Interestingly, the Gujrat CM while eulogized technology as one dimension of growth elicited other dimensions that India needs to take advantage of to excel ahead of the others in the global rave of development.
“I am addressing you by 3D. However the country has even more powerful 3D’s – Demographic Division, Democracy and Demand. With the kind of demand,
democracy and the power youth the country can achieve great milestones,” said Modi.
But the technology also came to the rescue of Modi’s rally which started with technical glitch that could be set right after a gap of 10 to 15
minutes from the beginning of the programme. People were listening patiently to Modi but the programme was racing against time as the rural mass, especially women, had to leave for household works and retire to bed.
“(Khana nahin bana hai. ja ke banayenge) I have not prepared dinner. I have to go to prepare dinner,” said a woman when she was about to leave the ground because of technical problem in transmission.
However, people glued to their position as soon as Modi appeared on the screen in his usual attire.
Those who had left the ground in disappointment came back rejoicing to what looked as incarnation of Modi on the screen in an area which had never imagined a rally of this kind under the clear sky and cool atmosphere.
“I came back from halfway,” replied Abhishek Oraon, a boy that appeared too young to understand the nitty-gritty’s of politics that Modi talked about.
The PM candidate’s appearance on the screen added punch in the power packed address powerful enough to knockout an opponent if the contest would have been in boxing ring. Modi accused Congress of ruining the country in last 60 years however looked confident about the voting percentage in the third phase treating it harbinger of decline of the Congress.
“People of this country gave more to Rajiv than Nehru. But what happenedIJ The more power Congress gains the more corrupt it becomes… More polling is signal of hope, trust and vote to punish today’s rulers,” pointed out Modi.
The powerful orator in Modi was at its best evidently as people clapped to nationalistic vision that he shared with people of Ratu and five other places in Jharkhand where the programme was simultaneously organized. Modi apprised people of his vision to implement modern technologies in waste water treatment, solid waste management, health and preventive healthcare and harnessing the man power to make progress.
The PM candidate hypnotized the crowd and made them join the chorus of Bharat Mata Ki Jai.
“I can see you on the screen exactly the way you can see me. So join me and say Bharat Mata Ki Jai,” urged Modi. The sight was indeed better as people obliged Modi with both hands up towards the sky and chants of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai”.
