The Winter Session of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly has been called from December 16 to December 22. This 7 day session will have 5 working days. On December 16, certified copies of the ordinances promulgated by the Governor will be laid on the table of the Legislative Assembly. There will also be a condolence motion. The decision was taken in the State Cabinet meeting held here on Thursday.
As per the decision, on 17 December, Question Hour and presentation of second supplementary Budget for the financial year 2021-22 will take place, while on December 18 and 19 no meeting will take place. On December 20, general debate on Chief Minister's Question Hour and Second Supplementary Expenditure Statement for the financial year 2021-22, Presentation and passing of Voting and Appropriation Bill will be done. On December 21, Question Hour and State Bills and other official business will be done and on December 22 State Bills and other official business and work of non-official members will be completed.
As many as 13 proposals were approved in the Cabinet meeting. In a decision a committee would be formed to decide the criteria for selection of banks for keeping money in government accounts in banks.
For the service support of the e-POS machines of PDS shops, a company was given work for five years, which has been completed. The cabinet approved the proposal to extend it for two more years.
The Council of Ministers approved the proposal to cover green card holders from the benefits of Ayushman Bharat, Chief Minister Jan Arogya Yojana
Also, during the meeting the proposal for relaxation of Rule 235 of the Finance Rules was approved for allotment of work on the basis of nomination to National Geographic on the expenditure of Rs 2.37 crore with GST to make world class documentaries on the State of Jharkhand.
The Cabinet also accepted of partial amendment in Jharkhand Child Development Service Non-Gazetted Employees Recruitment and Condition of Service Rules, 2006 and approval was given to Jharkhand Child Development Non-Gazetted Employees (Women Supervisory) Service Cadre (Recruitment, Promotion and Condition of Service) (Amendment) Rules-2021. At the same time extension was given to Jharkhand Textile, Apparel & Footwear Policy-2016 with effect from -19.09.2021 till new policy is notified or -18.09.2022 whichever is earlier.
