Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Tuesday said he would not go back on his decision over the sensitive domicile policy announced last month. Replying to queries of school students in a programme at Soochana Bhawan, Das said that he will keep all promises made to the people. On a question by Zila School student Aman Kumar whether he will rethink on his decision of the domicile policy, the CM said that there was no question of going on back foot.
Das said that he tried to solve the matter unanimously even on the day the proposal was being presented in the Cabinet. “But the concerned people had switched off their mobile phones and remained unreachable,” he pointed out.
