PNS

The suspected infidelity of the wife took the life of a father of two children in Palamu's village Majhouli under Panki police station. According to the officer in charge of the Panki police station, N Rajak, the man, Anand Bhuiyan (45), was found killed with rope mark on his neck and body abandoned not far from his house at Majhouli on Tuesday but strange enough there was no rope found. Anand's father Subedar Bhuiyan has lodged an FIR suspecting murder of his son due  to the infidelity of his (Anand) wife (name withheld).

The police officer said Anand's wife was doubted for her extra-marital love with a man in the same village over which Anand had always had tiff with his wife. The Panki police are investigating the matter. As there are rope marks on the neck of Anand the police are trying to find out if he was hanged to death and then his body was thrown down or was he strangulated to death using the rope.

Police are awaiting the post-mortem examination report.of the deceased. Sources said this is the second instance in which a wife is under police scanner for plotting to kill husband. Two months back a Muslim woman was caught for hiring a shooter to bump off her husband in Chainpur, who survived the bid on his life when the shot scratched past his back.
