Garbage collection and disposal system managed by Ranchi MSW Pvt ltd has received a technological edge with the inauguration of a state of the art computerised weighbridge at the Jhiri dumping ground on January 31.
The Weighbridge was inaugurated by Additional Municipal Commissioner Divyanshu Jha. Ram Krishna Mishra, the Executive officer of Municipal Corporation was also present during the inauguration.
Speaking on the occasion Om Kishore, Site Head, Ranchi MSW said, “Garbage collection in the city is being carried on a massive scale and in the latest Swachhta Survey the ranking of Ranchi is expected to improve.
We are totally committed towards green and clean Ranchi”
The Weighbridge, which is fully computerised, will enable smooth disposal of 50 Metric
Clean and garbage free city being the prime motto of Ranchi MSW Pvt ltd, it took up the project on war footing and completed it in record 45 days instead of a deadline of 90 days.
The company manages 33 Municipal solid waste management sites out of a total of 55 wards of Ranchi Municipal Corporation.
