Vigilance Department CMPDIL, Ranchi organised its valedictory session of Vigilance Awareness Week 2019 at Mayuri Auditorium of CMPDIL, Ranchi. On this occasion Dr. Amit Mukherjee was the Chief Guest, B. Roy Choudhary and Deven Mukhi were Guests of Honour.
Pushkar, GM (Vigilance) welcomed the guests. Dr Amit Mukherjee, a renowned orthopedic surgeon and Trainer of “Initiative of Change” world-wide deliberated on the topic “Integrity in leadership”. He gave examples of change from his life.
Along with the Characteristics of a good leader, he emphasised that everyone in the society can bring a change along with his usual daily routine. He introduced Deven Mukhi, an employee of Tata Tin plate, who shared his story of change from a drunkard to teetotaler. He not only changed himself but also brought changes in his society and neighbourhood. He broke the old age system of drinking “Hadia or wine” during the social function of the society. B. Roy Choudhary deliberated on the topic “Life Balance sheet”. He told that we all know or engaged in making Balance Sheet of the company but we never try to look in the balance sheet of our life.
He explained that similar to a company we should make the Balance sheet of our life and try to convert our NPA and Liabilities to Assets.
AK Srivastava, CVO, CMPDIL, in his address gave a brief outline of the activities conducted during VAW-2019 and deliberated in detail the preventive measures and system improvement measures taken by the vigilance department which have resulted in an efficient and effective transaction of business along with transparency and accountability. In the concluding session, a Compendium of Circulars/Guidelines/SOPs etc. of CVC, CIL and CMPDIL compiled by Vigilance Department was released.
In the event, the winners of Essay and quiz Competition held for the employees of CMPDIL during VAW-2019 were give prize by A K Srivastava, CVO, CMPDIL, Manoj Kumar, RD,RI-III and Dr. Amit Mukherjee. In the Essay Competition, Aditya Shrestkar, Prabal Priyaranjan and Sanjeev Kumar stood First, Second and third respectively. In the Quiz Competition, Upendra Singh and Manish Dohare secured First Position, Pradip Kumar and Deepak Kumar secured Second Position & Ruchi Smriti Baskey and Shweta Rai secured Third Position. Abhishek Kumar, Deputy Manager (Env.), CMPDIL anchored the programme in a very impressive manner. Amresh Kumar, CM (E&M/Vigilance), AK Tripathi, CM (Vig), SK Thakur, CM (Vig.) and Ritu Singh, Aprajita Das, Nand Lal Yadav of CMPDIL played an important role in organising the programme successfully.
