Vigilance Awareness Week closing-cum-Prize Distribution Ceremony was organised at “Mayuri Hall” of CMPDI on Tuesday.
The Chief Guest of this occasion, IRS, Principal Commissioner (Income Tax), Ranchi Dr Prabha Kant, highlighted the importance of vigilance awareness in the institutions and delivered a lecture on the topic,” How Vigilance can Make or break an organisation”.
CMD, CMPDI, Manoj Kumar highlighted the need for integrity and transparency in public life and said that we have to carry forward our company with honesty and integrity. Without integrity and honesty no one can attain a high position, he added.
Earlier Chief Vigilance Officer, CMPDI, Sumeet Kumar Sinha welcomed the guests and briefed about various programs organised during Vigilance Awareness Week and highlighted the work being done by Vigilance Department in CMPDI. He further reiterated that CMPDI is the first
company in Coal India
to get certification of Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS)and the second company in the national level PSUs to get this certificate. Along with this, he also highlighted about the promotional activities carried out to create awareness regarding PIDPI resolution.
A compendium on various circulars guidelines issued by CVC, MoC,DoPT, CIL and CMPDI was released by the chief guest and the distinguished guests of the occasion.
Director (Technical/P&D) AK Rana, Director (Technical/P&D), SK Gomasta, Director (Technical/CRD/ES) were present on the occasion.
The winners of various competitions organised for the students of various schools and colleges in and around Ranchi and for the employees during the Vigilance Awareness Weekwere awarded for their excellent performance.
