Police would assure vigil by installing CCTV cameras that would help it in controlling crimes in the urban areas. The process for installation of cameras has been completed, SP of lohardaga Kartik S informed.
He also said that proposal to establish the traffic Thana has been sent to Government and within few months it would be approved.
“After its establishment the traffic would be controlled and the fine can be charged in case of violation of traffic rules. The overloads in vehicles would be checked,” he said.
There are 12 Thanas now in lohardaga. After its establishment the total number would be 13. Soon a special campaign would be started for this.
In lohardaga the Bagru Thana would be started soon. There is no female sub inspector in the district. Its demand has also been made and in future it would be completed, told the SP.
