The two-day tour of the vice consul of United States Consulate in Kolkata, Gregory Simkiss, of this industrial city to apprise the students regarding higher studies opportunities in the US and the visa application process for the same concluded today.
During his visit Gregory also gave an interesting interactive visa presentation at the Travel Agents Association yesterday at Shavak Nanavati Technical Institute (SNTI), representative of the Consulate Deepa Dutta informed.
He gave a presentation on higher study opportunities in the United States and also spoke about the requirements to apply for U.S. visas and explained the easy steps to get U.S. Visas to more than 400 students of St Mary's English High School. Their parents also attended the session.
The presentation was followed by a lively interaction with the students. Mr Simkiss gave a similar presentation to about 80 high school students of loyola School. He interacted with the students at the end, Ms. Dutta said.
