International Working president of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Praveen Togadia said that the organisation was to start the biggest ever health initiative within a month providing free health facility to all the poor Hindu on a single phone call across the nation.

The VHP will also start over 60,000 Service Centres all over the County for the promotion of education, health and employment opportunities in order to mark Golden Jubilee year of VHP from August 2014. Togadia was speaking to the mediapersons Ranchi during his five-day visit on a special public relation campaign.

“VHP will be launching ‘Dhanvantari Call Centre’ (India Health line’ providing free medical consultation to the poor Hindus just on a phone call,” said Togadia. The call centers will be started initially at Hyderabad, Nagpur, Pune etc in the next month while the project will take at least three years to reach out at the block and village level, he added. Togadia however, expected that the service may take the next one year to reach to the people of Ranchi.

Besides that, generic medicines will also be made available to the people at cheaper rates than the regular medicine available in the market though Generic Medical stored all over the Country. “Dhanvantari call centers will be a revolution in the field of medical services in the Country,” said Togadia.

Togadia also said that over 60,000 service centers will also be opened on the Golden Jubilee Day of the VHP to promote free education, health and employment opportunities for the poor.

VHP has also launched a special public relation (PR) drive was launched among the Parliamentarians and Bureaucrats in the Country where more than 500 MPs were personally contacted and telling them about the concerns of the Hindus of the country.

“AS many as 512 Parliamentarians were contacted and a review was done and a database were prepared; their responses regarding the Hindus were found to be positive,” Togadia said.

According to Togadia, above 80 per cent of MPs from JD-U and DMK were found to be assertive towards the concerns of the Hindus but reluctant to support in the parliament but were helpless as they could not oppose the stand of their respective parties regarding the issue.

“The MPs however, were clearly told that one cannot rule the nation avoiding the sentiments of the majority in this country and told to honor their sentiments and pave way for building the temple,” said Togadia. “If law can be passed for Shah Bano, why not for Ram Mandir,” questioned Togadia. Referring North-East, Togadia said that the Hindus are insecure in the N-E; the Government must ensure safety to them.
