Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribag organised a one day seminar on the topic “How to write a good paper in a journal”. The proctor cum Dean, Students Welfare Mithilesh Kumar Singh inaugurated the seminar hall by lighting the lamp in Aryabhatt seminar hall of the university.
In his inaugural speech Mithilesh Kumar Singh shared his experience of research with the scholars who attended the seminar. He said that before selecting the topic for the research you have to go through the different books and journals which were published related to the topic.
He further said that a scholar must follow the language which can be understood by every person in the field of research. He has replied to all the questions which were raised by the scholars.
The Dean of the Social Science Prakash Chandra Deoghariya said that we should try to write the paper in the journals on small topics. He further said that an impressive paper can be written with the help of field work.
He further said that the field work is only the way to write the research paper on true facts. He has advised the scholar that you should try to stay away from the secondary data. Primary data have more importance than secondary data in research.
The Dean of Science RK Diwadi said that has given the suggestion to improve the subject matter in relation to plagiarism. He said that you should write your research subject matter in your own language. Other- wise you have to face the problem of plagiarism. University allowed only 10 per cent. More than 10 per cent will be rejected.
All the teachers and scholars of the different departments attended the seminar. The vote of thanks was given by Kedar Singh.
