VBU cuts B.Ed fee amount to fill vacant seats

PNS

Vinoba Bhave University administration finally decided to cut the B.Ed. fee amount due to vacant seats. This year with the start of two year B.Ed. course VBU administration had raised the fee drastically. It has fixed an amount of about 1.34 lakhs for general and OBC candidates and about 1.20 lakhs for SC-ST candidates as fee of the course. At that time student organizations and conscious people had raised their voice but were not heard. Now when less number of students took admission and seats were not filled then worried VBU administration decided to cut the fee amount because it is a self financed course approved by the government and it will be hard to run it if the seats will remain vacant. Now the VBU administration has decided to take 90,000 rupees from general and OBC candidates and 80,000 from SC-ST candidates as fee for two years B.Ed. course. It has also decided to fill the vacant seats though about six months of session 2015-17 has passed.
