Vaccination at panchayat level has clicked in Palamu district. Village folks are coming over to the panchayat bhavans for the coronavirus vaccination jab. Sources said a modest crowd of people was seen at Dinadaag panchayat bhavan for the vaccination. Similar turnout was found satisfactory at Pipra panchayat bhavan for the jab.
Sources said there was a great rush for jabs at the primary health centre at Babhandee. Health officials were making rounds of the panchayat level vaccination session sites but conspicuous were the block level officers.
SDO Chhaterpur N K Gupta made a stopover at Dinadaag panchayat bhavan where the vaccination was on.
Civil surgeon Palamu John F Kennedy said, “We believe this six day special drive for the vaccination jabs at the panchayat bhavan will further pick up when vaccinated beneficiaries will be sharing their experiences of the jabs with villagers.”
