Confirming the escape of the UT prisoner Alam from the sadar hospital in Daltonganj jail superintendent Praween Kumar said this UT prisoner was to be moved to RIMS Ranchi under advice of the doctor of this sadar hospital but last mid night he escaped from the prisoner ward of the hospital.
Jailer B P Singh said Alam was taken down to this hospital on January 4 and since then he was here undergoing treatment.
