Truth only triumphs, says Raghubar Das

Chief Minister Raghubar Das today welcomed the decision of Supreme Court and said that the Apex court of the country has also given its verdict that there is no irregularity in the Rafale Deal. The CM tweeted, “A lie is a lie. Even if someone repeatedly makes false claims about a lie it doesn’t become truth. Finally, truth has come out. Congress has history of sowing seeds of lies and doing scams. Satyamev Jayate (truth only triumphs),” he said.

Later holding a press conference at his office here on Friday, the CM said that the Supreme Court order is a tight slap on the face of Congress party. “I join the 3.25 crore people of the State to welcome this decision. Rahul Gandhi and Congress party should apologise before people for compromising with the security of the country. They should also tell the source of information as to who was feeding them such false information,” he said.

“Finalisation of Rafale Deal began in 2007 by UPA Government, but it could not take place between 2007 and 2014. It is a big question as to why then PM Dr Manmohan Singh could not do this.

It was reported in media that commission rate was not finalised and the company of the son in law (Robert Vadra) could not be involved. In fact they compromised with national security,” said the CM.

Das lambasted at the Congress saying that the party has a history of scams in the last 60 years. “In every big deal there is involvement of middlemen in the Congress regime. Between 2007 and 2014 Sonia, Manmohan and Rahul have played with the security of country. They should tell the people, who are responsible for aircrafts coming late to the country,” he said.

The CM said that the party that looted the country for 60 years is now levelling charges on the ‘Chowkidar’ (PM) of the country. “Everyone knows the history of Congress. Scams started during Nehru’s regime. During Modiji’s rule of four years all deals were transparent.

Our PM in last four years has done only Government to government deals and there is no question of middlemen. It is because our party considers nation first then the party. We cannot ditch the country for political gains,” said the CM.
