A two day training programme on “Mounting and Dismounting of Bearings” was organized in association with M/s SKF India for the officers and personnel of various departments of the plant at the Human Resource Development Center of BSL. On this occasion, Chief General Manager (Mechanical) VK Singh, CGM Manager (HRD), Manish Jalota, GM (HRD) Devashree Toppo, AS Rai of SKF India and Pawan Kumar Singh including officers and personnel of various departments were present. Firstly the General Manager (HR), Devashree Toppo welcomed all the participants and the chief guest and highlighted the advantage of the training programme. In his address, VK Singh gave a message to reduce the consumption of bearings in steel plants and reduce the break down by using the bearings properly. Manish Jalota also highlighted the usefulness of the training programme.
Also in another programme a half day workshop on Road Safety was organized on Hot Strip Mill. General Manager (Hot Strip Mill) and Departmental Safety Officer Amit Kumar, officers of Safety Engineering Department and personnel of Hot Strip Mill were present in the workshop. During the workshop, Amit Kumar apprised the workers about various aspects of road safety. Kumar gave the message to the workers to follow the traffic rules outside the plant as well as inside the plant.
