Traders seek 'Suvidha' in FJCCI Shivir

PNS

In a first ever move by Federation of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FJCCI), a three-day Suvidha Shivir began today in Chamber Building to address short term and long term issues of traders and business fraternity in the State. Inaugurated by noted Journalist Padma Shri Balbir Dutt, ex-FJCCI President Pawan Sharma and others, all Sub-Committee heads of the organisation met with traders, mostly from Ranchi and many from across the State to listen to their problems to get them addressed by authorities.

FJCCI President Vinay Agrawal said during inauguration of Shivir that the State had moved forward on the path of a renewed commercial and industrial revolution post Global Investors’ Summit (GIS) on 16-17 February this year under Momentum Jharkhand. “This brings representative organisation for traders in State, FJCCI, in the centre to help industries and trade to grow. We will try to get all the issues taken to us by our fraternity to bring before the Chief Minister and concerned departments for timely addressal,” said Agrawal.

The Chamber came across issues brought by traders related to clutters at Pandara Market, increased cyber crime post demonetization, requirement of setting up Traffic Police Station in Giridih with adequate trained trafficmen in it to control traffic in city, difficulties in receiving No Objection Certificate (NOC) by pollution control board, non-availability of fire-trucks in Palamu, problem in mutations among others from many parts of the State.Traders also appreciated Chamber’s actions taken in order to get around 1,000 building maps passed during last year alone by Ranchi Municipal Corporation (RMC) in comparison to mere 150 maps passed prior to that. Shivir In-Charge Ashwini Rajgarhia and Manish Sarraf said on Wednesday that the Shivir started delivering results in a way that traders were coming in with their problems. “We have also asked traders to get their issues and concerns listed through e-mails, in case they find it difficult to make in Shivir during all three days,” said Rajgarhia. Vice President Kunal Ajmani, General Secretary Ranjit Garodia, Joint Secretary Anand Goyal, Rahul Maru, ex-President Om Prakash Agrawal, Poonam Anand and other members were present in Shivir on day one.
