TPC ultra Md Shamsher alias Munna was shot dead by some unknown persons in Dadighaghar forest area of Ichak block on Monday afternoon. In the evening, Ichak police brought the body to Sadar Hospital, Hazaribagh, for post-mortem. The police of Ichak PS said that prima facie it looks like a murder in rivalry of two left ultras group.
As per our Ichak source, three shepherds Vinod Ganjhu, Sonu and Prakash who were in the forest with their cattle, heard the sound of firing. They ran towards the area from where sound came and saw Shamsher lying on the ground.
The shepherds told Ichak police that the man was alive when they reached there but before they could do something to save him, he died. They also informed that they heard the sound of footsteps of some people but failed to see them.
After getting information, Ichak police reached the site and brought the dead body to Ichak PHC where doctors declared him dead. From the mobile and other papers in his clothes it became clear that the deceased is Shamsher alias Munna, son of Md Gulam Rasool of Manjhiyawa village of Padma PS.
Ichak police informed his family members about the incident, then his father came and identified him. He said that a phone call has come this morning and after receiving the phone call Shamsher had left home. He had not told anyone that he is going to Dadighaghar forest.
Our source informed that Shamsher was a member of naxal outfit JPC earlier, but some months ago he had joined TPC. As per talks going on in Ichak and Padma Shamsher has been killed by his ex-friends because he had changed his loyalty.
