TPC extremists torch Hywa in Daltonganj

PNS

A hywa was torched at Pathrahee village between Lahlahey More and Lesligunj Panki road in Daltonganj on Thursday night allegedly by extremists of TPC. The front part of the heavy vehicle was burnt down in the incident.

Sources said few people numbering 4 or 5 came and torched this vehicle and then retreated in a great hurry.

The vehicle was part of tools for a 37.47 crore worth road of a length more than 11 Kms between Lahlahey and Lesligunj Panki road. Police have found a hand written leaflet in which TPC is alleged to have taken responsibility of this arson.

SP Ajay Linda said, “Police are investigating if this arson is really by any rebel outfit TPC or else one. Police had no input of any extremists roaming in the areas over the last 6 months. How did they come now is to be investigated.”

Linda further said, “Apart from this hywa, which was partially torched there were other vehicles parked at the construction camp like tractor trolley and bikes but these were not damaged or destroyed at all which itself makes one ask if extremists have become sensible and selective when it comes to destruction of property by them.”

A source in police said the so called leaflet of TPC mentioned the name of Sanjit TPC but police source said there is never any clue or input of any TPC extremist of the name Sanjit be it real name of an alias one too. So who this Sanjit is? Police are out to find.

Again a villager said there was a Braham Bhoj at Pathrahee on the night this arson was committed which itself raises eye brows as when there were so many foot falls that night how extremists dared to do this arson.

SP Linda, however, said every incident of crime be it gutting of the shop or this partial burning of hywa police will go all out to fix the wrong doers and there will be no complacency either.
