Throw out Cong from Jharkhand: Shah

Buoyancy of great success the party had scored not long ago in Jharkhand seemed to have been behind the call given in the first electoral rally of Amit Shah in the State. This prompted the BJP president and man Friday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to appeal to the voters to free the State from the misrule of the Congress and its allies just like they did at the Center.

Addressing a poll rally at lohardaga, 55 kms from Ranchi, on Sunday Amit Shah pitched in with reasons behind his call. “You must be puzzling why I choose to start my poll meeting in Jharkhand from lohardaga. It is because the State Congress president is contesting from here. Peoples of Jharkhand have responded to Modiji’s call of ‘Congress Mukt Bharat’ and now it is time for the State as well. Come and make Jharkhand free of Congress,” said Shah.

The seat has fallen in the kitty of the AJSU under the agreement reached between the two parties and Kamal Kishore Bhagat is the alliance candidate. The leader also blamed the Congress for running Governments by proxy in the State and also consistently indulging in destabilising the political scenario over the years.“The Congress has not allowed any Government to stay and has played sinister game here. They even made an Independent the Chief Minister and led to corruption in the tune of Rs2,500 crore. The tribal (Madhu Koda) rotted in jail while the persons with lion’s share of the scam are roaming free. All such people should now be prepared as the BJP Government is coming. We will bring back the money looted from the State which would cross over Rs12 lakh crore and was sufficient to run the State for seven years,” said the leader.

Sarcastically the leader rated Congress leaders as “lallu-panchu” (trivial) in comparison of the BJP and sounded assured about his party victory despite the proposed rallies of top Congress leaders including Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. He also painted JMM, RJD and Congress with same colour and predicted that all of them would come together again after the polls.

Shah also blamed the misrule for the penury of the State despite having blessed with so much of mineral wealth and natural resources. He underlined lack of basic amenities for the common people and compared education, health, power and employment situation from the BJP ruled States like MP, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Goa. “People over there have not to drink water by digging potholes,” he mentioned.

At the same time he also justified the six months stay so far of the incumbent Government at the Center and counted on the fronts like “tamed inflation and teat for tat” approach to Pakistan at borders to silence the Congress criticism. Shah also assured the healthy crowd gathered there that misrule would be replaced by good governance with full transparency. “The BJP unlike the previous Government would not make money for their kiths and kins. Jharkhand would be getting Rs2.5 lakh crore out of the coal block auctions which the Center is going to do,” he said.

He also sent out a clear signal for the BJP workers and directed them to treat coalition candidates as of their own. “This is alliance of with clean heart. The BJP workers should work harder for the win of AJSU and lJP candidates. Their win is the win of the BJP,” said Shah. The gathering was also addressed by AJSU chief Sudesh Mahto who said, “The Government of father and son will be ruptured now and the alliance of BJP and AJSU will come with full support.”

Union Minister and lohardaga MP Sudarshan Bhagat, BJP state president Ravindra Rai and AJSU candidate Kamal Kishor Bhagat also addressed the gathering.
