Three workers sustained severe burn injuries in an accident at Electro Steel limited (ESl), Parbatpur plant about 35 kms from district head quarter of Bokaro.
The injured Sahajad Anshari, Irfan and Vinay Patakh were rushed to Bokaro General Hospital (BGH) where condition of Sahajad is said to be critical, hospital sources said.
The accident took place at about 1.30 AM when trio were working live wire at DI pipe factory. All three were got burn injuries when flame erupted after a short-circuit, said Rohit Singh PRO of ESl.
“All are getting high level treatment at BGH”, he added.
Commissioning of DI pipe plant is going on war foot basis. Despite all of them are skilled and experienced, accident took place. We have constituted an enquiry, he said.
