Three people, including one infant, died while several others were injured when a speeding car head-on collided with a passenger bus on NH-23 (Bokaro-Dhanbad) near Kala-Pathhar in Bokaro district on Saturday morning.
All three deceased were traveling in the car were identified as OmPrakash lala, Manisha Devi and their infant Munmun while Rubi (sister of the deceased) is struggling for life at Bokaro General Hospital (BGH), police said.
According to the eyewitnesses a i10 car (regn no. JH10Al 3748) coming towards Bokaro collided head-on with a passenger bus named Digvijay near KalaPathhar on Bokaro-Dhanbad highway. “Both vehicles were running with wild speed, collided head on”, added the eyewitness.
The collision was so heavy that all three traveling in car were died on the spot while one rushed to hospital with multiple injuries, said another eye witness. Many others travelling in the bus also got multiple injuries rushed to the local hospital at Chas.
