The bodies of a woman and her two children one 4-year old and other one year old were recovered from a well at Gambhardih village under the Dewari police station here on Sunday, according to SDPO Prabhat Ranjan Barwar.
According to reports the bodies later identified as Soni Devi wife of Rakesh Rai and her 7- year daughter Maru Kumari and 4- year old son lalan Kumar. A number of villages said it was committed suicide but the woman’s brother Arun Singh alleges murder.
Police sources said that the woman Soni Kumari and her two children had gone missing since late night on Saturday and her family member were feeding by them that they were going her mother house in Jhajha and their bodies were found floating in well at outside the village .However the woman committed by jumping into well in Gambhardih village along with her two children, according to police .
According to her brother who came to the village after knowing the incident, he said she was tortured by her-in laws and was killed along with her children and the bodies were dumped into the well later.The bodies have sent for postmortem in Giridih .
The report, released on Monday by the SDPO, Prabhat Ranjan Barwar informed that the case under the IPC of 302 has been registered with Dewari police station and the investigation is ongoing, and there will undoubtedly be more added to the report ,Barwar said.
