Theft, snatching and loot incidents have been rising across the city spread a feeling of insecurity among the residents of Bokaro as the police have failed to keep a check.
On fourth consecutive day, thieves escaped with cash and jewellery of an estimated worth of Rs25 lakh from a house of Shyam Jain, businessman of ornaments at Gujrat Colony Chas under Chas police station last night.
According to the police Jain’s housed was locked as all families were out of station since past three days. The thieves entered into the house after opening the lock of the door.
IT seems that thieves opened the lockers (three) with the help of keys and escaped with the valuables and ornaments from back side door, said OC of the local police station.
FIR is yet to registered, as the Jain and his families are out or the town so we are waiting for them, said OC adding we are investigating into matter.
