Thieves escaped with cash and jewellery worth of Rs 8 lakhs from house of D Tewary, a retired BSl employee at Sector 2 under City police station in Bokaro. According to the police the thieves escaped with the valuables and ornaments. At that time all family members were out of station to participate in a marriage ceremony. “We are investigating into matter,” said OC.
Notably, theft and snatching incidents have been rising across the city these days; spread a feeling of insecurity among the residents of Bokaro as the police have failed to keep a check.
