A teenage mother has died after giving birth to a child in Bokaro on Friday. Ritu Dutta (19) a resident of Chas, was admitted to the Sadar Hospital, Bokaro after she got labour pain. She became critical due to heavy blood loss during delivery, said S Dutta, husband of the deceased.
Her condition started deteriorating soon after the birth of the child due to large amount of blood loss, later at 9 pm her condition becomes more critical only due to negligence of the doctors on-duty, alleged Dutta.
As her condition worsened, Dr Mathely Thakur referred her to Bokaro General Hospital, however, she was declared brought dead, said Dutta. Irked over the death, family members along with local leaders and their supporters makes 'hue and cry' inside the hospital and sat on the protest inside and out sided of the hospital building.
